Age: A lot younger than she lets on.

Personality:

Saracastic and condenscending, Saluki by nature thinks of herself as superior than normal 'rhyn, and never fails to take advantage of her 'special talents' to play tricks on anyone she comes across. Despite this, she purposely stays as far away from other Ti'rhyn as she can, knowing that when her resident shadow-demon is hungry, the bloodlust would drive her to feed upon even her own kind. She is, in herself, a social creature, and being driven to self seclusion causes her more pain than she lets on.

History:

Before her 'binding', Saluki was very much a carefree doe, not tying herself to any one thing, a creature without loyalty or morals. She travelled wherever she felt excitement could be found, and loved to create chaos with those around her, using her unique ability to manipulate the light around her and weave a cloak of invisibility she used to trip and pinch, steal and break. Whenever a flash of light seemed to come from nowhere to blind you, make you falter and fall, that was Saluki.

All this was, of course, before it happened. A chance find and a clumsy paw, nothing big or spectacular, led to the release of the dark being that now plagues her existence. A demon spirit, who she calls (for lack of anything better as he refuses to give his name) Darke, has attached himself to her soul. Always hungry for blood that can give him even tomporary solidity, she now spends most of her time hunting to satisfy the demon. She rarely speaks to other rhyn, for both their safety and her own.

When the occasion calls for interaction, however, she is usually sarcastic and condescending to anyone and everyone. Including the ranger with which she shares a bond, forged of necessity.

He searches for a way to release her, while she focuses on one thing... Keeping the spirit from consuming her completely.

Defining Physical Traits:

As a singular unique, Saluki possesses traits that no other rhyn in existance does, other than her own blood-offspring. Most noteable of these would be the two pairs of black feather-wings attached to her back. A large pair, high between her shoulder blades, and another smaller pair used for added manouverability in flight sprout just below them. Less noticeable are razor sharp elongated fangs that protude over her lips, quite useful... To her.

Other:

The pendant hanging around her neck is a reminder from the day she unleashed Darke from his 'imprisonment'. She found the stone mere moments before the blunder that released the dark demon, and keeps it to help her remember that curiosity isn't always a good thing.

OFFSPRING
Egads, you don't mean she actually managed to convince a male to breed with her? o.O And she didn't EAT him??

Her brood of three, of course, didn't stick around long. Two went off with their father, a handsome Andalusite buck under the watchful eye of Ranger Pristine. The other was foisted onto Ranger Leonite.
