Abrazitos had never ever planned to breed. He didn't think it would be smart to do such a thing - to inflict the world with another of his kind. But Isadyn whispered in his ear, told him of a plan she had, the reasons for her plan, and other things that changed his mind.
He agreed only to a seasonal birthing lair - the ka'rhyn still drove him nuts, but he knew she would be a good provider, that she would "love" her hatchlings. So they went in search of the lair that would hold their eggs.
He would have preferred to be closer to Fae, but this was the grown male thing to do. He already had some experience with hatchlings, as he had cared for Asha after finding her.
He wasn't expecting Isadyn to have three eggs though.
One was his own gemkin. He was proud, and worried. The little one would be lucky, for it would have another of its own kind to grow up with.
The second was obsidian, what Isadyn wanted. He felt his heart go out to the egg, for the ka'rhyn inside had many expectations layed upon it, before it even hatched.
Last came a diamond egg. This suprised Abrazitos. An air child to watch over.
And so he cared for his eggs, as Isadyn hunted for him and cared for them both.
